Editorial policy

Sourcing rules

• A number goes on this site only if we can point to the exact official document or page it came from.
• Every page's "Verified" line names the source and the date we last checked it — if that date is old, treat the fact as due for a recheck, especially fees, which NOUN reviews periodically.
• Where an official NOUN document contains an internal caveat (for example, the 2022 fee memo noting some sums needed Senate approval), we state that caveat rather than smoothing it away.
• Where we could not find an official source for something readers commonly ask about, we say plainly that it isn't published, rather than guessing at a plausible-sounding figure.

What we will never publish

• Live exam questions or answers, current or "leaked" — obtained however, we won't touch them.
• TMA (Tutor-Marked Assignment) answers, current or past.
• Any content presented as coming from NOUN when it doesn't — practice questions we write ourselves are always labelled as practice material written to the curriculum, never as official past papers.
• Fees, dates or requirements we cannot trace to an official source.

Corrections

If you find an error — an outdated fee, a broken source link, a fact that's changed — report it via the feedback form on any page or emailhello@nounpastquestions.com. We treat every content-error report as a trigger to re-check the source before editing the page, and we update the "Verified" date whenever we do.

Independence

Not affiliated with NOUN (National Open University of Nigeria). We have no commercial relationship with NOUN. This site earns nothing from selling access to material that should be free, and never gates a source document behind an email or social-media signup.
